This policy outlines the process for requesting the deletion of your account and associated data within the Microfy app developed by ioMicrofy Infratech Pvt. Ltd.
Requesting Data Deletion
We understand that navigating app settings for data deletion might not be feasible for everyone. Therefore, we offer a simple email-based approach for your convenience.
To request data deletion, please follow these steps:
- Send an email from the email address registered with your Microfy account to support@microfy.io
- Include the subject line “COMPLETE DATA DELETE” in your email.
- Briefly mention your request to delete your account and associated data.
Data Deletion and Retention
Upon receiving your confirmation email, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
- User profile information (name, email address)
- App preferences and settings
- Any investment-related data directly tied to your account (excluding anonymized or aggregated data)
Please note: We may be required to retain certain data for legal or regulatory purposes, even after your account deletion. This data will be anonymized and cannot be used to identify you. Additionally, any non-personal usage data may be retained in an aggregated form to improve the App’s functionality.
Timeframe for Deletion
We aim to process your data deletion request and complete the deletion within 7 business days of receiving your confirmation email.
